John Pollard of ADA Gallery in Richmond, Virginia and Katharine Mulherin of Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Projects in Toronto, both veterans of the New York art world via fairs, joined together to battle The Big Apple in The Big Apple this past June. Not content with their new zip code, Mulherin and Pollard have uprooted their new venture and have brought their team spirit into the heart of the Bowery, opening Mulherin + Pollard at the end of Freeman's Alley (at Rivington between Chrystie & Bowery). Opening exhibit features work by Nina Bovasso, Bruce Wilhelm, Sojourner Truth Parsons, and Winnie Truong.
