JENNY KENDLER
was born in New York City in 1980. She currently lives and works in Chicago. Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as Exit Art (NYC), Claremorris Gallery (Ireland), The Yeosu Art Festival (Korea), The Contemporary Artists Center (Massachusetts), Ellen Curlee Gallery (St. Louis), NorthEastern University (Boston) and Root Division (San Francisco). In Chicago, she has shown at venues including Columbia College, The Post Family Gallery, Kasia Kay Art Projects, Johalla Projects and the MDW Fair. She has upcoming solo sows for 2011-2012 at ADA Gallery (Richmond, VA) and the CAC’s Bolt Residency Gallery (Chicago, IL).
Kendler is co-founder of the not-for-profit Endangered Species Print Project, a member of the artist collective Henbane, and the author of Wunderkammer, a blog on environmental art. All profits from her work are donated to support biodiversity and environmental justice.
